Dr. Auswaf Ahsan is Professor and Head of Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, KMCT Dental College, Calicut, Kerala. He completed his Masters in Oral Medicine and Radiology 1999 and in Human Rights in 2002, and has been teaching dentistry for the past thirteen years. He is also the Managing Editor of Other Books, since its inception in 2003, which published numerous titles related to Kerala Muslims in various languages, including English, Malayalam, Kannada and Arabic.
