Drishadwati Bargi (Issue Editor) is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, University of Minnesota. She is writing a dissertation on Dalit Religiosity in Literature and Cinema. bargi003@umn.edu
Aatika Singh is a Delhi based artist. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Arts and Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her primary research is about the intersections of art history and the anti-Caste movement. Her previous projects were based on gender, mental health, and marginality. She has been working on a series of protest art at the ongoing farmers protest at Tikri Kalan. She finished her law graduation from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in 2018 after which she was employed with Navayana Publishing briefly. She is passionate about alternative cinema, resistance visuality and rural activism traditions.
Ankita Chatterjee is a Ph.D. researcher at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Her research areas include digital sociology, visual anthropology, new media studies, and cultural studies.
Saumya Mani Tripathi is a PhD Scholar at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU. Her research areas are politics, performance, trauma, and memory in resistance movements. She has presented her works at Belgrade, Shanghai, Venice, Italy, and Ireland. She is currently working on cultures of resistance in Kashmir and is a filmmaker and thespian freelancing with various organizations in India and abroad.

Deepti Sreeram is a PhD student at the Sociology and Anthropology department at Ashoka University. She has taught research writing and ELT at Ashoka University, Manipal University, NID Kurukshetra and Anant National University. She also has worked as a journalist and has published in Tehelka and Outlook India.
